Norco Jack Stand with a ratchet style design and 3-ton capacity (each) features a lift height from 12" to 17-1/2". This unit is intended for automotive use where a vehicle needs to be supported before making repairs, featuring a patented, spring-loaded pawl to provide constant locking pressure against the lifting column. A common machine bolt secures the lifting column to the stand, providing added strength when the stand is continuously lifted and handled by the column, and the stand's four-legged base comes with foot pads for added strength and a more secure footing on asphalt. A recessed column saddle allows for the acceptance of a vehicle panel rail, and the positive-lock handle, which cannot be disengaged until the load is off the saddle column, can also be used as a carrying handle. Norco's Jack Stands are sold in pairs and to be used only in pairs.
